Workshops & Classes Our workshops and classes are a great way to learn and improve a wide variety of crafting and quilting skills in a fun and relaxed environment. The aim of them is to increase your confidence and expertise in making handmade items, and at the same time to discover the great enjoyment that comes from creating such unique pieces. We hold regular workshops and classes on a variety of themes that are suitable for people of all levels of experience - from beginners to experienced crafters! We also offer one-to-one tuition to help learn or improve specific skills, as well as group sessions which are a great way to meet new people with an interest in crafting and quilting. Some of our regular sessions are: Patchwork and quilting | Sewing machine demonstrations | Cardmaking and stamping | Bunting | Jelly roll quilting | Bags | We run our workshops and classes at our purpose-built studio Lime Place. Newly opened in 2013, the Lime Place studio is in an idyllic setting on a private estate on the outskirts of Barton-Under-Needwood, a short drive away from The Place. It can accommodate small or large groups at all times of the day, seven days a week, and also benefits from free parking. Visit our About Us page for more details on The Place and Lime Place. To get a taste of our workshops and classes (and the refreshments you can expect to get!) check out our gallery below and the comments from some of our recent crafters! | "Really enjoyed the Jelly Roll Block Quilt Class.
